League Administrator
The Gaylord Soccer League is seeking a diligent, highly motivated, passionate individual to lead and grow the league’s daily operations, including our communications, registrations and overall operations. This individual will be responsible for the following duties in this part-time position:
- Managing day-to-day operations
- Build registrations for both Rec and Travel and promote them accordingly
- Take part in all GSL Board of Directors’ meetings, and specific committee meetings
- Communicate to all GSL members via email, telephone, social media, and website
- Serve as the main point of contact for coaches, volunteers, and members
- Support all player tryouts, tournaments and all fundraising activities
- Coordinate and track background checks for all adults in the League
- Order, organize and distribute team uniforms
- Understand MSYSA, NMSA, and Premier leagues and facilitate all communication with these Organizations
- Other duties pertinent to the success of GSL
Other information:
Reminder, this is a part-time contracted position. Most weeks, especially in the off season, it will require ten or less hours. Other weeks, leading up to and during the seasons, it may require up to 30 hours. Most work can be performed at the convenience of the contractor, except when it is imperative for the success of the League.
