Brandon Brigham Memorial Scholarship

Brandon was an avid soccer fan.  He was a member of the GSL for 11 years and helped coach the 2007 Gaylord Thunder U10 Boys travel team. Brandon, 16, died from a car accident in August of 2007, following the Gaylord High School Boys Varsity season opener held in Ludington.

“Brandon was a dedicated player,” said Brandon’s mother, Shannon. “His enthusiasm for the game was felt by his fellow team members who honored him with the creation of the “Spirit of the Team” Award.  His very essence was the spirit of soccer.”
